Meet Dr. Kyle Williams
Dr. Kyle Williams, DAOM, is a board-certified acupuncturist and provider of Oriental Medicine through the National Certification Commission for Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine (NCCAOM)®. He is a licensed acupuncture physician in Florida (AP-4155) and a licensed massage therapist (MA-99751), bringing over 20 years of hands-on experience. Our clinic is located in downtown St. Petersburg, FL.
In 2019, Dr. Williams earned his Doctorate of Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine from the American College of Traditional Chinese Medicine in San Francisco, with dual specializations in pain management and women’s health. He also completed a 200-hour clinical internship at the Zhejiang Provincial Hospital of TCM in Hangzhou, China, where he rotated through specialties including gynecology, internal medicine, dermatology, pediatrics, cardiology, and pain management.
Dr. Williams holds a master’s degree in acupuncture (2013) and a post-graduate certificate in Chinese herbal medicine (2017) from the Won Institute of Graduate Studies in Pennsylvania. He completed his undergraduate studies in health science at West Chester University (2010).
Dr. Kyle is passionate about working with patients who are actively engaged in their health journey. He helps individuals define meaningful, achievable goals and provides them with the tools to restore balance and optimize well-being. Our Story
Awaken Integrative Wellness began in 2010 in Media, Pennsylvania, as a yoga and massage studio founded by Kyle Williams. With over 20 years of experience in the wellness industry, Kyle created Awaken as a space for healing, movement, and restoration.
As Kyle completed his studies in acupuncture and Oriental medicine, the vision for Awaken evolved. The practice expanded to include integrative therapies like acupuncture, herbal medicine, and holistic pain relief—while staying true to its original purpose: helping people find balance and well-being.
Over the years, Awaken has delivered thousands of treatments, always with a patient-centered approach. Though the Media location closed during the COVID pandemic, Kyle found space for reflection and growth.
In 2022, he brought Awaken to a new home in St. Petersburg, Florida—a community he had visited and loved for over a decade. Today, Awaken continues its mission of blending modern and traditional therapies to help people feel their best, naturally.
